How was everyone's Thanksgiving?
Did you stay home? Do anything special? Eat a lot or in moderation?

I watched the Macy's parade with my family and thought it was pretty subpar. The Goku and Luffy balloons were neat, but it was a strange feeling seeing anime bleed more into the western normal sphere. I wished the floats were actually matched with the singers in theme. A lot of past prime singers in awful outfits on floats that don't have anything to do with the theme of their float, I remember the lego float standing out because whoever was on it just sung some unrelated pop song. Other than that I had a good time.

I had a burger because we already had thanksgiving dinner two weeks ago.
Glad the Lions won, I didn't watch it because I get bad anxiety over it.

Ate a lot of food, met with family for all day and really enjoyed it. Sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, basted turkey, potatos n gravy, apple sauce, pies upon pies of varying flavors, wine, and cake, then a bunch of other stuff too I love. Not to mention the after-thanksgiving I enjoy tomorrow with a great turkey soup and paninis. Also I love my family a lot, especially the ones I see during thanksgiving, so it's always nice meeting up with them.

In addition to catching up with the adults in the extended family, I spent a bunch of time active with the younger generations too. Their kids are really active and love playing around so I always indulge them when they want to play, nice to see kids that are interested in things other than being glued to their ipads.

Talked with my one cousin a lot about RPG games since we both share a passion there. He's the second person to adamantly recommend me to play Secret of Mana, so I'll probably do that soon when I get the opportunity.

Holidays take on a very different meaning as you get older. It's quite likely it was the last Thanksgiving for two of the people here at our gathering of six.

Internet died during Thanksgiving+1 so was just playing SNES and watching TV with family. It was pretty comfy but my sis couldn't handle it and had to go to a hotel.

She should have played SNES with you instead. What did you play?

Had the same thing happen to me and it sucked. Power flickered the night before and apparently it screwed up my router and modem. I couldn't even buy a new one to troubleshoot due to the awful timing. At least the internet company were willing to send out a tech I thought they would just pass it off until Friday.

Playing the good old Mario Kart with family sounds wholesome (I'm kinda envious). That game has its very own kind of approachable feel and atmosphere.
