I went to the Osaka castle today and they had a fig expo featuring Eva! Thankfully I was wearing my Eva Uniqlo undies, socks, shirt, and hoodie, which helped me better appreciate the depth of their designs. On the way back I stopped by the train station's Maccy to eat an Eva double teriyaki cheese burger and savor Anno's full vision, then went to Nipponbashi to purchase some figs but a life-sized Rei doll posing at a tech shop caught my attention. I don't remember what happened next, but I must've bought something. Finally, I spent a couple hours playing with a row of pachislot Eva machines each with the face of 01, though my best shots were next to the long-haired Rei cutout (Asuka doko?), and ended the day with some yakisoba-pan and an Eva wafer from the konbini for dinner. Sadly, I drew Suzuhara's card, I'll have to try again later.
When will I be ready to watch the rebuilds? I feel like I'm gradually getting there. Right?
