what's the purpose of a screencap that neither serves as a reaction image nor as an image to react to?

The prequels were a massive disappointment when they came out, on par with the disney movies, if not even worse. But in the long term, they didn't have that big of an impact on film as a whole, so nobody cares anymore. I guarantee in a decade or two the disney films will exist in the same state as the prequels, where they're generally understood to be bad but nobody really gives a shit.

>>83546 The prequels did have a big upside, introducing the clone wars and a lot of pre-empire stuff into legends. The sequels in that respect are a lot worse, they made it non-canon.

>>83546 I think most people agree that the prequels had a decent story behind them and some cool moments, it's just that there was too much dumb stuff thrown in with it, especially in Episode I.

>>83547 I think this is one of the primary reason a lot of younger people who grew up around the time of the prequels get defensive about them. There was a ton of high quality side material from around that era which sort of superseded a lot of the movies' flaws.

I actually like the Prequels more than the originals, but then I don't like the originals or Star wars in General. But at least the prequels looked better. I have not seen the sequels and I am not going to because Star wars is stupid and I already saw enough, too much in fact.

in what way does it get amusing?
Anonymous 10/27/22 (Thu) 23:06:58 No. 98686
>>98660 Well, at ep 8 most of the girls and setting are established, so the plot finally progresses and you get to see confrontation and character growth slowly begin. Remember that episode runs tended longer in the 90's than now so there was more fluff episodes.
At around episode 20+ the series gets a bit odd though, takes a way different direction than I would expect; way more spiritual and serious, when I was just expecting something like Di Gi Charat and to get a good glimpse of 90's Akiba.
