The most recent VN-anime thing that kissu had around was Utawarerumono's third adaptation, and I think (hope) people were able to enjoy the anime even if they didn't spend 150 hours on the VNs.
"The VN/manga/LN/etc is better" is a common refrain to hear in a discussion about any non-original anime, but that doesn't stop people from enjoying the animated version.

Oh, uhh... Oyashiro-sama cursed me and I have no power in my house for a few days and I'm in a hotel. Someone pass it along here or in IRC that the Higurashi stream guy is not able to host for the next few days most likely and the guy that does seasonal stream can step in if he wants to.
Don't pressure him, though, as it was my decision to set this up every day. We can just delay everything by a week if need be.
Anyway... We're on Kai now, episode 1. Try to split it so there's some sort of conclusion at the end of each day, I guess.
