reading the translated LN. near the end of vol 1 right now, some lines are odd and I wonder if they are mistranslated...
for example the narration keeps describing Goblin Slayer's sword as "almost too long to wield" when in the anime he made a point of using a short sword because it was not necessary for it to be any longer
another line says "One adventurer had been worsted by a charging rider and found a wolf at their throat.", that's not an idiom in use, did he mean "bested"? is the translator using the antonym of the English word by mistake. that would explain the description of the sword too
