you use stacks and queues with Grammars, with regex you use loops.

Hmm.... well, I think Kuon's show was by far the best personally, but the people have spoken and it's a tie, huh?
If this was a poll on the wilder internet, or even just imageboards, Utawarerumono would be 0.035% of the vote so I'm pretty happy.
But, the lesson is clear: I need to force Utwarerumono on people more.

so like wakaranai lol

 No.2611

I'll just decide on one of the 4 and begin preparing episodes at 1600 EST for 1800EST show.

Kind of Trending towards Emma or Dennou Coil... both 2cour with some nice stories and worldbuilding

The form says Friday and it will be Fri eventually, but Dec2 and Dec9 are the annual Tsukuyomi stream.

More people on the feedback agree with Friday. One even at 4PM EST

So, the last thread was a bit confusing for people and the idea wasn't fleshed out well enough. This time I propose an actual poll that will decide if /megu/ is brought back or not.

Historical Reference: /megu/ was kissu's first "imagedump board", and a nice place for kissu users to share lewds with each other, at some point vern decided that for reasons to remove it and open /ec/ in its stead.
This is how things have been up to now. Where I have noticed that there still seems to be a desire for sharing lewds with each other across /qa/ (and myself), but no proper outlet for doing so. Which is why I'm proposing a revival of /megu/ with conditions to ensure that it lasts this time. Which would be that it's unarchived and a limited amount of pages so that it's more in line with the spirit of getting in the mood and sharing lewds you've found with Anonymous.

Now, there are two ways in which the revival for /megu/ could go about. One way is that /ec/'s rebranding or re-ruled so that it's the new /megu/. The other way is that /megu/ is split from /ec/ to preserve the unique niche that /ec/ has found itself in while not being redundant in its use.
The way in which this split would work is that /ec/ is reorganized to contain more of the imagedumps across kissu, and according to degrees of lewdity threads would be split from /ec/ into /megu/.

Ones that should be moved with /megu/:

Of these two examples I like the old more. The new one has too much noise or volume variance or whatever it is that makes a song less enjoyable to me

 No.2590

I like the new because I can have them all on my pc and let them play all at the same time without "recording to tape" or "bouncing to hard disk drive" or whatever gramps did. Also how did people even afford synths back then? They must have all been rich!

 No.2591

>>2576

I just compared the music in these two videos. Was I supposed to do something different?

 No.2592

>>2590
Depends what you mean by "synths". Tracker programs were basically all shareware, and I'm sure you would've been able to find sample libraries being shared around as well.

 No.2593

>>2592
The sample pool for tracker software was from many things. Stuff borrowed from other tracker files, recordings of real synths. recording real instruments, short waveforms, stuff sampled from other sources such as music, and sample packs people made. Especially on Amiga the st-xx sample packs that came with the first tracker in name "The Ultimate SoundTracker" were used a ton even if just for one or two sounds. There were a lot of carts on Amiga that let users record their own samples and make then into sound files for use in trackers and on PC sounds cards had inputs so you could use those instead. Future trackers even support alot of these old files plus new file formats so the sample pool is very huge. Samples literally could be anything you wanted to use back then and even now so what really matters is the user. For example of this idea I used this sample of Yuno and Miyako I made (https://files.catbox.moe/7x798b.wav) into a test song for fun two years ago (https://files.catbox.moe/m4b1an.ogg)

yeah, so my once in a week thing is not an option.

it's either Option A(reorganization of imagedump boards so that /ec/ and /megu/ don't result in dead boards) or Option B(renaming /ec/ to /megu/)

 No.2552

I prefer /ec/ staying as what it is, and if that means /megu/ can't be done then so be it. Voted "No strong feelings".

File:[SubsPlease] Shachiku-san ….jpg (203.29 KB,1280x720)

Man, this one is hard, too. In general I hate rating different genres against each other to declare one as "best" or even as my favorite. Do I give more points for originality? Do I take into the account how difficult it is to make a serious, engaging story over something simple like cute little girls at a festival in yukatas for the 5000th time?
Instead, I'll simply say the one that I personally enjoyed the most.
Shachiku-san's healing properties was really potent. There are many shows out there with healing properties for the psyche, but this one really hit the mark in its focus. I think I have to vote for this one over the others because it's a level of innocence and cuteness that you don't see done so perfectly very often, much less in a full episode format.
And of course it does get points for featuring the voice of /qa/ as the little catgirl.

Though, I've been meaning to watch that final Kaguya-sama season eventually...

Not sure if it's called theme or genre or what but the first 3 episodes have all been markedly different in their presentation. First one was more of a serious shounen. Second was the more stereotypical seasonal isekai starter. Third was more a romcom setup. The show has my interest and I hope it keeps up this trend of making each episode it's own distinct thing but I don't have faith. Will probably still watch it for the girls and power fantasy in a fantasy world though.

 No.2374

I agree, and that's what's really caught my interest with it. I haven't really been able to tell what it's going to do next yet, so I'm excited to see where it'll throw me around. Eventually it's probably going to settle on a theme and maybe it'll be a bit less exciting then, but for now it's very enjoyable. Also it's got great chuuni representation that I have to applaud it for getting so well.

My sunday.... or maybe I'll put it at friday... stream is going to be ecchi themed with:

Otome last boss, Immoral Guild, Peter Gril(12 minute show, 2 ep a week from season 1) and Renai Flop

I just don't have the motivation to put in shadow or anything else that's airing. The best shows that the stream is missing out on... in my opinion... are ecchi.
So, making it an ecchi themed stream for this season.

 No.2356

File:[Rom & Rem] Urusei Yatsura….jpg (494.45 KB,1920x1080)

I finally got around to deleting the previous poll thread.
Shows with at least 5 votes have been approved for the stream, but the two 5s will be at the end (but before Precure). Utawarerumono is very story heavy and people might not be able to stay for 4 hours every week so it's important they see every Utawarerumono episode whereas the others are far more lighthearted and independent.
So, show order will be:
[other autumn shows]
Utawarerumono
Urusei Yatsura
Iruma
Precure
